Jim Walker

Business Development Manager, (Global)

Jim is a Professional Engineer who trained and worked as a Metallurgist with Bonney Forge International and Babcock & Wilcox in the U.K between1973-82 before joining the Welding Manufacturing Industry with Phillips Welding.

 He held positions as Welding Engineer, Product Manager, Sales Manager and Marketing Manager with Philips Welding, Esab Group, and Oerlikon Welding respectively before joining Inco Alloys International Welding Products Company in 1997 as European Marketing Manager, appointed Global Marketing Manager at Special Metals Welding Products Company in 2001. He joined Bodycote Testing Group in 2004 to take up a global role as Business Development Manager, Oil & Gas, and after a successful period takes up his new position with Special Metals Welding Products Company effective Monday 3rd March 2008. 

 In his new role Jim will be based at the company’s European office in the U.K. coordinating Global Business Development activities with colleagues in Europe, North America, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
